Annoying alarm sound

I used to think this app was perfect but after some use I am not only annoyed every time the alarm sound goes off, but concerned that it is overstressing my devices speaker and causing damage to it. I certainly will not hesitate to hold the author responsible if it should break because of this app. As it is, I will be looking for something to replace the app before anything unpleasant happens.
